Cathedral View House

Cathedral View House provides personal and nursing care for up to 60 older people across two separate units—one residential and one nursing—arranged around a garden area. At the time of inspection, 50 people were using the service. Staff demonstrated improved competency in managing medicines, with people receiving prescriptions as intended and team members having received additional training. Management maintained robust oversight of medicine systems and followed best practice guidelines.

Care planning had also improved significantly, with staff now maintaining current information about residents' changing needs and regularly reviewing support plans. Staff confirmed they had the information necessary to provide effective care. The home had strengthened its auditing systems and processes to ensure ongoing quality and accountability.
