The service demonstrated good practice in its admission procedures, following current guidance to protect residents from cross-infection.

New admissions were required to provide negative covid-19 test results before entry, followed by a 14-day isolation period. The provider had identified designated bedrooms in one area of the home specifically for isolating symptomatic residents, with designated staff assigned to provide care for isolated individuals.
