Hoyland Hall Residential Home

Hoyland Hall provides residential care and accommodation for up to 33 people. During the inspection, 17 residents were living at the home. The service has implemented clear visiting arrangements with information prominently displayed at the entrance and visiting areas. Relatives receive regular updates about their loved ones, and the home supports visits through various methods including window visits and a dedicated visiting pod. Staff are encouraged to safely facilitate visits for people at the end of their life.

The home maintains good infection control practices. Staff change into clean uniforms in a dedicated room upon arrival and apply personal protective equipment in a separate area with appropriate handwashing facilities. PPE stocks are well-maintained, easily accessible to staff, and stored safely. Social distancing measures are consistently followed throughout the service.
