St Georges Hotel provides personal care for up to 22 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 17 people were using the service.

Staff had not completed necessary checks and records to ensure people's safety. Practice fire evacuations had not been carried out, and health monitoring information was not always recorded correctly. When healthcare professionals provided advice, actions taken were not always documented, making it difficult to monitor people's progress.

Medicine management was inconsistent with best practice standards, creating safety concerns for residents. The home did not follow proper procedures for managing, administering and checking medicines.
