St Cyril's Neurological Care and Rehabilitation Service

St Cyril's Neurological Care and Rehabilitation Service supports up to 26 people requiring specialist rehabilitation and therapy following neurological injury, including acquired and traumatic brain injury. The service operates within one building separated into distinct wings, with 20 people living there at the time of inspection.

Inspectors identified several areas requiring improvement. Risk management was not always effective, and some people's pressure area care needed enhancement. Required documentation was not consistently in place. Additionally, medication systems and audits had failed to identify that 'as required' medicines protocols were missing.
