About St Clare House
St Clare House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 29 older people, including those with physical disabilities, mental health needs, and dementia. At inspection, 28 people were using the service.
People gave very positive feedback about the care and support staff. However, inconsistencies existed in how risks were identified and managed. Care plans and risk assessments had not been reviewed and updated as people's needs changed. Whilst medicines were mostly managed safely, action was needed to ensure good practice guidance was consistently followed. Some environmental risks required attention.
