St Anthony's is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to 34 people, with capacity for up to 39 residents, some of whom may be living with dementia. People received their medicines as prescribed, though medicines were not consistently stored safely. Staff had received training in infection control but did not always follow correct guidance regarding the wearing and disposal of PPE.

People felt safe and supported by staff who understood their responsibilities to report signs of abuse, with safeguarding concerns being dealt with appropriately.

People are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches. Staff are aware of risks to residents and how to support them safely, with the manager recognizing the need for additional training to enhance safe and effective support. Sufficient staffing numbers respond to people's needs in a timely manner.

Accidents and incidents are reported and analyzed for patterns and learning, with quality assurance audits in place to provide management oversight of the service.
