The CQC assessed the home after concerns about delays in health referrals and found the provider had put effective measures in place, with healthcare professionals confirming improvements. Minor ongoing work was needed around monitoring general risks and recording responses to suggestions, which the provider had already identified.

Inspectors found people were safe, well cared for and involved in decisions about their support. Staff were kind, knew people well, and were properly trained and supported. The registered manager fostered a person-centred culture, and people spoke positively about the food, activities and homely atmosphere.

The home was rated Good overall.
