Shannon Court

Shannon Court accommodates up to 53 people, including those living with dementia, across five separate living areas, each with dining and lounge facilities. The home features a large communal lounge on the ground floor and extensive grounds with courtyards for residents to use. At the time of inspection, 40 people were residing at the service.

However, inspectors found that people were not always supported to make choices and exercise control over their lives. Staff did not consistently support residents in the least restrictive way possible or in their best interests, and the home's policies and systems did not reflect best practice standards in this area.
