Moorhouse Care Home

Moorhouse provides nursing care for up to 38 older people, including those living with dementia, physical disabilities, and complex medical needs. At the time of inspection, 36 people were resident at the service, which operates from one adapted building.

While some people had positive experiences, risks to safety and well-being were not consistently managed effectively. There was insufficient clinical oversight and internal management, with lessons not being learned when issues occurred. Staff deployment and leadership were inadequate, meaning people did not consistently receive the care they needed.
