Springfield House

Springfield House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 10 people with a learning disability and autistic people, and 10 people were living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the home Good overall, with improvements noted since the last inspection in how risks and medicines were managed. Inspectors found people happy and relaxed, encouraged to be independent with shopping, cooking and personal care, and supported to communicate their needs and preferences.

People led active, busy lives with activities arranged around their choices, and staff responded positively to their wishes. While safety, effectiveness, caring and responsiveness were all rated Good, well-led required improvement, though this did not affect the overall rating.
