Ocean Swell provides personal care to up to 32 older people, with 27 residents at the time of inspection. Residents expressed satisfaction with their care, describing the home as a place they would not want to leave. One resident commented "I would not want to be anywhere else," while another said "The staff are like friends.

I can ask them anything. " Staff support residents in maintaining their independence while managing identified risks appropriately. Medicines are handled safely and administered as prescribed.

The home demonstrates strong safeguarding practices, with staff able to identify and report concerns effectively. Risks have been assessed and mitigated to keep residents as safe as possible. The service learns from incidents when they occur and takes action to prevent recurrence, and staff have been recruited through safe processes.
