The care home implemented several measures to manage health and safety. Hand washing facilities and sanitiser were available at the entrance, with temperature checks recorded for all visitors. While relatives were restricted to visits only when their loved one was approaching the end of life, the home provided full personal protective equipment in these cases.

The provider purchased a marquee with heating to facilitate socially distanced visits, demonstrating consideration for maintaining contact between residents and their families. Two tablet computers were acquired to enable residents to stay connected with relatives through video calls.
