Spencers Lodge

Spencers Lodge is a care home providing support for up to 8 people with a learning disability. At the time of the assessment, 7 people were living there. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that people received individualised, person-centred support that promoted choice, independence and safe access to community life.

Inspectors found there were enough trained staff who knew people well, and risks were managed in the least restrictive way possible. People and relatives spoke positively about feeling safe and supported, describing staff as kind. The culture was open and caring, with good quality monitoring systems in place to identify and address any shortfalls quickly.
