About Southfields

Southfields is a residential care home in Kent offering respite support. The findings below set out what the CQC observed during its most recent inspection.

Southfields is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 10 people, with a focus on respite support for autistic people and those with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, two people were receiving short-term respite support at the home.

The service maintained robust health and safety measures for visitors, including appointment-only visits with Covid-19 testing checks and vaccination verification where required. Temperature checks were conducted, and visitors were asked to sanitise their hands and wear face masks. Designated meeting areas within the service were arranged to minimise contact and protect the wellbeing of residents.
