South Avenue

South Avenue is a care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to seven autistic people and people with a learning disability. At the time of the assessment, six people were living there. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding it met the principles of right support, right care, right culture.

Inspectors found sufficient numbers of trained, safely recruited staff, and relatives felt the service was safe. Care plans were detailed and reviewed regularly through a keyworker system, staff knew people well, and residents were supported to make choices, pursue hobbies and maintain relationships with family and friends.
