Singleton Nursing & Residential Home Limited

This nursing home provides accommodation and care for 49 people, including those with dementia. During the inspection, 28 residents were living at the service. The home demonstrated several effective practices to support residents and their families.

An enclosed meeting room was created to allow people to visit family and friends while minimizing infection risks, accessed separately from the main home. A visitor coordinator role was established to facilitate visits and maintain communication with relatives. The registered manager ensured personal protective equipment was available for both visitors and residents, and organized regular COVID-19 testing for people and staff.

Risk assessments were in place for those in high-risk groups, and the manager had developed plans for managing potential outbreaks, including room isolation and area zoning strategies.
