Shirley View Nursing Home

Shirley View Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 22 people, supporting older adults, some of whom are living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, 19 people were using the service.

The CQC found the home was performing well overall and rated it Good. Staff understood how to safeguard people from abuse and manage risks safely without imposing unnecessary restrictions. There were enough staff on duty, robust recruitment checks were carried out, and staff received regular training.

People were supported to have choice, control and independence, and families could visit freely.
