Sheepwalk House

Sheepwalk House is a residential care home supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people, providing personal care to a small number of residents. The CQC found the service performing well, with staff managing risk safely, medicines handled correctly, and enough skilled, well-trained staff in place. Care was person-centred, with individual communication styles understood and respected, and people supported to make choices and build independence.

Relatives told inspectors they felt reassured their family members were safe, happy and well cared for, describing staff as kind and committed and the registered manager as approachable and knowledgeable. Communication with families was seen as a strength, and activities were tailored to help residents live full, meaningful lives. The service was rated Good overall.
