Shaftesbury Ashley Place

Livability Ashley Place provides residential care and accommodation for people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and autistic people. The home is designed to support wheelchair users, with equipment and adaptations enabling people to move around the building as independently as possible. At the time of inspection, 18 people were living at the service, which is registered for up to 21 residents. The service also provides personal care to two people in their own homes.

Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control of their lives, using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. People had opportunities to build skills and participate in individual activities, with staff focusing on people's strengths to help them lead fulfilling and meaningful everyday lives.
