Royal Garden Hotel

Royal Garden Hotel is a care home providing support to people with largely minimal personal care needs, most of whom have full mental capacity and are closely involved in their own care planning. The CQC found the service to be good overall, noting that people were encouraged to live independently, managing their own medicines and coming and going from the home, including walks along the seafront and trips to local shops.

Inspectors found staff knew people well and that safeguarding arrangements, staffing levels and risk management were all good. People said they felt safe and could speak to the manager whenever needed, though the well-led area was rated as requiring improvement.
