Seymour House (Hartlepool) Limited

Seymour House in Hartlepool is a nursing and personal care home for up to 20 people with mental health conditions. At inspection, 18 people were living there.

The home had systems in place to protect people from harm, with risks assessed and mitigation plans developed. Assessment and support plans had been improved, though staff needed to more clearly document any restrictions and their legal basis. The registered manager must ensure all staff fully understand and consistently apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and its code of practice.
