Harmony House Nursing Home

Harmony House provides nursing and personal care for up to 33 people, supporting adults with mental health conditions. At inspection, 26 people were using the service. Residents reported being happy and spoke positively about the leadership. The home has systems in place to manage people's money safely and protect them from abuse, though infection prevention and control processes needed further improvement. Staff training was being developed, with the provider planning to review induction support after some staff identified gaps in this area.

People were supported to enjoy meals of their choice. However, some staff indicated they were not always able to give open feedback to the registered manager, and the provider acknowledged that staff induction support could be strengthened.
