Seale Pastures is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 40 people, with 24 residents at the time of inspection. The service supports older people, including those living with dementia. Medicine management protocols are safe, and staff have good knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

The provider deployed sufficient staff to meet people's needs, and people are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible.

The provider was taking action to establish safety protocols and improve the premises to minimise fire risks. Staff felt supported by the registered manager in their roles. However, the provider did not always notify CQC of relevant incidents, and relatives were not always aware of how to raise concerns with the registered manager.
