Highfields

Highfields, in Derbyshire, is a residential care home providing support for up to five people with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Staff were described as attentive, skilled and consistently person centred.

Inspectors found people were treated with kindness, dignity and respect, and supported to make choices despite communication difficulties. Medicines, staffing and infection control were managed safely, and relatives praised the approachable, visible management. Care planning was detailed, responsive and focused on meaningful, individually chosen activities.
