Schankin House

Schankin House is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to three people with learning disabilities and associated health and support needs. At inspection, three people were using the service, which operates from one adapted building in a residential area with access to community facilities.

Staff supported people to participate in activities of their choice both at home and in the community. Care plans were regularly reviewed to ensure support met individual needs, and staff communicated effectively with people and responded appropriately to their requirements. Relatives were positive about the support their loved ones received.
