Sahara House

Sahara House is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 19 people with a learning disability, autism and physical disabilities. At the time of inspection, 15 people were living there. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding it had improved on shortfalls identified previously.

Inspectors found risks were well assessed, staff understood their safeguarding duties, and medicines were managed safely. Recruitment was robust and staff felt supported by management. People and relatives reported feeling safe, with care delivered in a way that respected people's rights and involved them in decisions.
