The Beeches (The Drive)

The Beeches (The Drive) is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to up to 8 people with learning disabilities and autistic people. Inspectors assessed the service against the "right support, right care, right culture" framework used for people with learning disabilities and autistic people, and found it overall meets expectations, with an overall rating of Good.

However, the CQC found significant concerns at the time of assessment, including poor risk management, a fire exit gate that was locked, an exposed live wire, out-of-date food and insufficient supplies, unlocked financial records, and staff interactions that lacked dignity and warmth. Night staffing levels were also insufficient to meet people's needs.
