Saffron House

Saffron House is a care home across two floors, providing accommodation and personal care for up to 48 younger and older people, including those with physical disabilities or dementia. At the time of the assessment, 31 people were living there.

The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall. Inspectors found earlier breaches had been addressed, but a new breach relating to staffing meant care was not always timely. People felt generally safe and cared for, though some said support was inconsistent and they had little involvement in care plan reviews.

Oversight had improved but was not yet fully embedded in daily practice.
