Saffron House

Saffron House accommodates up to 48 younger and older people, including those with physical disabilities and dementia, across two floors. At inspection, 29 people were using the service.

Staff did not consistently follow procedures for the safe storage, return and disposal of medicines, and medicine records did not always evidence that people had received their topical medicines as prescribed. Care plans lacked robust guidance on how staff should support people when distressed, and risks around people's distress were not well managed.
