Parkhouse Grange is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 40 people in a purpose-built environment across two floors. At inspection, 30 people were using the service, many living with dementia. The home had systems in place to protect people from abuse and manage medicines safely.

Staff followed safe infection prevention and control procedures, and sufficient numbers were deployed to meet people's needs. Risks associated with people's care, needs and the environment were assessed and kept under continual review to ensure measures remained effective.
