Ryland View Care Home

Ryland View Care Home provides personal care and nursing support for older and younger adults, some of whom are living with dementia. The CQC found people received kind, person-centred care that respected their dignity and independence, with staff understanding individual preferences and communication needs. Families felt involved and confident that concerns would be taken seriously.

Some weaknesses were found in governance, including inconsistent oversight of medicines, staffing and risk monitoring, and gaps in how learning from incidents was shared. Leaders acknowledged these issues and took action, with no impact on people identified. A previous staffing breach had been resolved, and overall the service was rated Good.
