Ryedale House provides residential care and support for up to seven people with mental health needs. At the time of inspection, the home was at full capacity with seven residents. The service maintains safe care practices with good staffing levels and skilled staff.

Risks to people are fully assessed and well managed, with staff supporting positive risk-taking to ensure residents have greater choice and control over their lives. This approach demonstrates staff respect for people's independence and autonomy.

Systems are in place to keep people safe from harm, neglect and discrimination. Staff have been safely recruited and receive induction and ongoing training to provide effective care. Medicines are safely managed and infection control procedures are established.

Care needs are assessed before people receive a care package, ensuring support is tailored to individual requirements.
