Roselands Residential Care Home

Roselands Residential Care Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 17 older people, some of whom live with dementia. At the time of inspection, 16 people were using the service. The home has arrangements in place for families and relatives to visit, with pre-booked time slots of up to 30 minutes to ensure social distancing. Special arrangements are made for people receiving end-of-life care, with relatives escorted to bedrooms and required to follow the home's personal protective equipment policies.

The provider has implemented appropriate measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. All visitors have their temperatures taken and complete a Covid-19 risk assessment screening for symptoms before entering. Visitors must wear face coverings and wash their hands before and after mask use. The home has appropriate arrangements for testing both people and staff for Covid-19, following government guidance on testing procedures.
