Roseacre

Roseacre is a residential care home providing personal care to 20 people aged 65 and over in a detached two-storey building set within rural grounds. The service can support up to 22 people. Infection control practices have significantly improved, with repairs completed to make areas easier to clean and hand washing facilities now readily available throughout. Staff use PPE effectively and have introduced appropriate additional infection control measures. Care plans now include proper guidance for managing risks related to known behaviours, falls and skin integrity. Accidents and incidents are appropriately investigated, and a fire door lock has been removed to ensure safety compliance.

Staff have been recruited safely and possess the skills necessary to meet residents' needs. Planned staffing levels are routinely achieved during the week, though weekend staffing is considerably lower. Staff are confident these reduced levels remain sufficient to provide appropriate care.
