Rocklee Residential Home provides care and support to people with mental health conditions. The CQC assessed the service after concerns were raised by visiting professionals, and the rating fell from good to requires improvement, with two breaches found relating to safe care and governance.

Inspectors found risk assessments and care plans did not always reflect people's current needs, and some safety checks and emergency procedures were incomplete. Governance systems had not identified these gaps, and some care plan language did not reflect people's choice and independence. Even so, people said they felt safe, well supported and encouraged to make their own decisions, and the provider responded positively to the concerns raised.
