Riverside View Care Home

Riverside View Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 59 people, including some living with dementia or with physical disabilities. Inspectors carried out this assessment partly in response to concerns about staffing, nutrition, dignity and care, and to check earlier medicines management issues had been resolved. The CQC found the home was rated Good overall and no longer breaching regulations.

Some people, staff and a health professional felt staffing levels were not always sufficient, though call bells were answered promptly during visits. Care was described as kind and respectful, with good support for nutrition, health needs and independence. The home was found to be well managed, with effective quality checks and mostly positive feedback from residents, relatives and staff.
