Rivers Reach

Rivers Reach is a residential care home providing support to a small number of people with a learning disability and autistic people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that people were kept safe, with health conditions and risks assessed and managed appropriately. Staff were well trained, medicines were handled safely, and the home was clean and well maintained.

Inspectors found people were treated with kindness, dignity and respect, and care was delivered in line with national guidance for people with a learning disability and autistic people. Transitions into the home were handled thoroughly, and most relatives felt reassured, though some gave mixed feedback about medicines, health issues and communication. The management team was described as approachable and supportive.
