Ridgemoor Road

Ridgemoor Road provides accommodation and personal care for up to eight younger adults and older people with learning disabilities and autistic people across two bungalows. At inspection, all eight places were occupied. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control of their lives, using the least restrictive approaches and enabling them to maintain contact with important people. Residents had their own bedrooms which they could personalise as they wished.

However, improvements were needed in several areas. Risk monitoring and management systems required strengthening to be more effective and consistent. The systems for receiving, managing, administering and recording medicines needed further development to reduce risks to people. Additionally, care, treatment and support plans were not always up to date or complete, requiring better record-keeping practices.
