About Ribston House

Ribston House is a residential care home in Gloucestershire for people with a learning disability. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Ribston House accommodates up to nine people with a learning disability in a purpose-built building. At inspection, eight people were using the service. The home has created a dedicated visitor area in a new building in the front garden, allowing people to receive relatives in line with individual visiting risk assessments.

When visits weren't possible, staff supported people to stay connected with family through electronic means.

Staff receive guidance and training on safe working practices and speak positively about support from the registered manager. The service has implemented appropriate COVID-19 testing and Personal Protective Equipment protocols in line with national guidance. Plans are in place to manage potential critical staff shortages during any outbreak.
