Regent House Nursing Home

Regent House Nursing Home provides accommodation with personal and nursing care, including support for people living with dementia. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding people well cared for, treated with kindness, and involved in decisions about their daily routines. Activities had improved since the previous inspection, with people, staff and relatives all noting positive change.

Inspectors did identify some concerns around leadership. Staff gave mixed feedback about management support, with some feeling unable to raise workplace issues, and people were not always spoken to with dignity and respect. Staff understood safeguarding and infection control well, and worked effectively with other professionals to support good outcomes.
