Red Gables

Red Gables is a residential service supporting younger adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding that previous safeguarding breaches had been resolved, with managers now following proper procedures and taking appropriate action when concerns arose. Staffing levels were sufficient, medicines were managed well, and minor documentation and training gaps were rectified during the assessment.

Inspectors found staff to be kind and consistently supportive of people's independence and choices. People and relatives spoke positively about the care provided, describing staff as knowledgeable, attentive and trustworthy. Leaders were visible and staff felt supported, contributing to a positive, learning-focused culture throughout the home.
