The Light House

The Light House is a residential care home in Somerset supporting people living with mental health needs, caring for 9 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service good overall, an improvement from its previous requires improvement rating, and found it was no longer in breach of regulation relating to risk management.

Inspectors found people felt safe and well supported, with risks properly managed and medicines handled safely. Staff were described as kind and approachable, encouraging independence and involving people in decisions about their care and activities. Leadership was strong, with a positive culture and good communication with people and their families.
