Ravensworth Care Home

This residential care home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 30 older people, many of whom live with dementia. At inspection, 29 people were using the service.

People expressed happiness with the support they received and felt safe living there. Staff demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding procedures and confidence that concerns would be taken seriously. The home assessed and regularly updated records of risks to people's wellbeing and safety, with staff supporting people to manage these risks whilst maintaining their independence. People received support to take medicines safely and as prescribed, and accidents and incidents were regularly reviewed and analysed to ensure lessons were learnt.
