While staff were often described as kind, the CQC found care lacked personalisation, with limited activities, poor dementia awareness among staff and inconsistent staff deployment. Relatives raised concerns about boredom and reduced access to gardening and activities. Some improvements had been made to the building, but governance remained ineffective and lessons from past incidents had not been learned.
