Previously rated inadequate, the CQC found significant improvements had been made, and the home is now rated good overall and no longer in special measures.
Staffing, training and infection control had all improved, and relatives felt their family members were safe and well cared for. However, inspectors found systems for monitoring safety and quality were not yet fully embedded, dementia care plans needed more detail, and risks were not always addressed promptly.
