Puttenhoe

Puttenhoe is a residential care home with three units: one supporting people needing residential and respite care, one for people living with dementia, and a short-term unit helping people regain independence after hospital discharge. At the time of the assessment, 27 people were using the service. The CQC rated the home Good overall.

Inspectors found staff understood how to safeguard people and managed risks well through clear care plans. People and relatives spoke warmly of the kind, attentive staff, feeling respected, listened to and involved in decisions about their daily care. Person-centred support and regular feedback systems were noted as particular strengths of the service.
