Primrose Hill Care Home

Primrose Hill Care Home provides nursing and personal care to older people and people living with dementia, with capacity for 60 residents. At the time of inspection, 50 people were using the service. While an action plan had been implemented to address areas for improvement, it had not been consistently followed. This meant wound reassessments and dressings were not always completed as planned, and important care records including food and fluid intake and repositioning notes for those at risk of pressure ulcers were not always updated daily or reviewed by staff as required.

Residents reported feeling safe at the home, and staffing levels had been increased to allow staff more time to spend with people. Medicines were being administered as expected.
