Pottles Court

Pottles Court provides personal care for up to 17 older people, some living with dementia, with nursing care arranged through community services. At the time of inspection, 12 residents were living at the home. The premises were clean with ongoing updates to communal areas, supported by established cleaning schedules that adapt to new guidance. Hand sanitiser was readily available and staff used personal protective equipment appropriately. The provider completed thorough risk assessments before admissions and ensured staff received training to work safely during pandemics. Weekly briefings kept the team informed, with particular attention paid to staff wellbeing and mental health following an outbreak. Families were regularly updated about their relatives' wellbeing and home operations through letters and social media.
