The Holt provides accommodation and support for up to two young people. During inspection, the home had developed thoughtful approaches to maintaining residents' connections with family and friends through carefully risk-assessed visits, ensuring safe and regular contact. The home implemented robust Covid-19 measures including regular testing for people and staff, immediate isolation protocols for those showing symptoms, and vaccination arrangements.

The small, personalised service enabled staff to know residents' needs well and maintain positive morale during the pandemic. The home offered a good range of activities tailored to individual interests, including socially distanced countryside walks, BBQs, themed parties and birthday celebrations. Staff demonstrated particular dedication through creative touches such as preparing homemade takeaway meals and bringing in their dogs for residents to enjoy, helping keep spirits up during challenging times.
