Portobello Place

Portobello Place is a purpose-built residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 61 people across three separate adapted floors. At the time of inspection, 44 people were living at the service.

Staff focused on providing person-centred care and achieved exceptional results by taking time to understand people's individual needs and using that to improve their care and outcomes. Inspectors observed many examples of how people's quality of life and wellbeing had significantly improved. Residents told inspectors they felt safe living at the home, and staff knew how to identify and report concerns. The provider maintained safe recruitment and selection processes while continuing to recruit additional staff.
